CSRA is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer with next generation leadership skills. This candidate will performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Work with application architects to plan and develop technology roadmap to evolve Secure Flight platform. Evaluate different cloud technology such as AWS, Azure or on-premise cloud Hyper-V that makes capacity planning easier for TSA. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Experience with various IBM tools and applications to include, but not limited to (Extreme Scale, Data Power, Tivoli Mon, Netcool, Sys Dir and ITCAM, BigFix, Control CTR, WAS Appl Server, MQ, WODM, and ILOG)
Experience with AIX, RehHat Linux, LDAP and CHEF

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Provide direct analysis and recommendations associated with the implementation or migration of specific applications to cloud services.
Implementing and maintaining cloud management solutions including initial and ongoing configuration of related automation, notifications, and reporting capabilities
Working with a variety of legacy applications and platforms and working with application teams to implement or migrate associated components to cloud services
Identifying and troubleshooting cloud service events and issues as well as working with cloud service providers to efficiently solve issues or implement workarounds
Experience with AWS, Azure
About the Program: CSRA is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated professionals with proven leadership skills and Agile and traditional Waterfall software development experience to support enhancement of a critical mission DHS Transportation Security Administration (TSA) software system that provides aviation security, helping keep our Nation safe.
We are pursuing the TSA Secure Flight Software Development Support Services contract. CSRA will be responsible for sustaining and enhancing the capabilities of Secure Flight and, more importantly, CSRA will be responsible for achieving full migration to Agile software development and a Cloud infrastructure while ensuring 100% availability of Secure Flight.
