Job Description:

CSRA is bidding a program to support Department of State (DOS) Biometric Identification and Interoperability System (Digitus). The team provides subject matter experts in the areas of systems engineering, test and evaluation, cost estimating, logistics and sustainment, environmental engineering, real estate planning, and facilities planning and engineering. The team helps DoS and Government of Mexico (GOM) assesses the equipment and technology and improves interoperability and enhances biometrics and other innovations to keep the border safe and secure.

Currently, we are seeking an Software Developer Engineering Lead . The selected candidate must currently hold or be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearance, per contract requirements.

So what is required of an Software Development Engineering Lead on a day to day basis? There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities, such as:

The Software Development Engineering Lead shall have overall responsibility in application coding design and standards. Required Skills/Experience: eight (8) or more years of relevant experience supporting data management activities:

·Seven (7) years’ or more experience with Red Hat and JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.

·ANSI SQL and Oracle PL/SQL Certified Associate or seven (7) years’ experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

·Experience implementing the MVC Development Methodology (Model/View/Controller)

·Experience implementing JEE applications and design patterns.

·Experience with GUI development JavaScript and JQuery and AngularJS.

·Experience with Queuing concepts.

·Experience with developing and managing data models with data modeling tools.

·Experience designing and developing solutions with Java Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE/JEE) in an Agile Software Development environment

·Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)

·Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL

·Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ and IBM MQ Series.

·Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including IE and Chrome. Responsive web design includes Bootstrap and Angular.

·Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript

·Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation
