Position Description

  • Ensure all development of Data Analysis System is managed to fulfill program integrity business needs through ongoing maintenance, while evolving the program through new development

  • Managing and provide technical direction for multiple cross-functional development teams of virtual and on-site employees

  • Manage information technology systems, software, storage and as well as outsourced partnerships

  • Accountable for the development and operations of analytics systems, data stores, and related data analytical framework

  • Develop, document and monitor the processes, procedures, policies, key performance indicators (KPI) and best practices for all development and operations activities

  • Evaluate and recommend new technological systems and vendor products to develop data analytic solutions that match or pre-empt business requirements as well as managing selected vendor relationships as required

  • Manage and mentor junior staff

  • Ensure effective communications and interaction with key associates involved in the delivery of the development and operations activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline, and 7+ years of experience in a broad range of assignments supporting technologies directly related to analytics.

  • Breadth of expertise to include ETL, BusinessObjects, SAS, and Portal development

  • Experience managing Developers, Testers, Data Modelers, System Analysts, Production Support Specialists

  • Knowledge of installation, operations and maintenance of complex computer applications and databases.

  • Knowledge of telecommunications, system performance, and security and data center operations.

  • Highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement principles as they apply to Medicare Part A, B, D, and Medicare Advantage is preferred.

  • Experience performing analytics related to identifying fraud, waste and abuse for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS)

  • Certifications in SAS or Business Objects.

  • Strong technical knowledge of systems architecture, big data and systems security in general including advanced knowledge and understanding of data analysis
