Job Description:

CSRA, teaming with its alliance partners, provides the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with cost-effective cloud, innovative, next-gen IT services; data center consolidation and cloud migration capabilities to drive its mission forward.

CSRA is looking for a reliable, motivated and results-oriented Agile Scrum Project Lead with extensive experience in software development, business and systems analysis, and software implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and configures systems specifications that address business requirements, processes, and that fit within architecture standards. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

  • Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.

  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

  • Revises existing systems and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

  • May document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations. May act as a liaison with other business

  • Maintains frequent direct customer contact to ensure a strong client relationship.

  • Works directly with project external stakeholders and the solution architect for project related items such as system status, end-user feedback, requirements application and release management,

  • Facilitates effective communication between team members, managers and external stakeholders

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience, or MS + 12 yrs related experience

  • Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Experience with complex environments requiring timely delivery of quality products.

  • Proven capability to manage multiple software releases simultaneously while exceeding the client’s objectives and expected outcomes.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Experience empowering team members while providing them with support and guidance.

  • Experience mentoring team members in a range of subjects including, client management, Agile processes, and workload management.

  • Proven ability to identify the team’s development blockers and to facilitate the mitigation of risks.

  • Demonstrated use and knowledge of Change Management tools

  • Demonstrated use and understanding of JIRA Issue Tracker

  • Experience with various database management tools

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud-based storage.

  • Certified Scrum Master, (CSM) desired

  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification preferred
