CSRA is seeking an SCA Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to support our Regional Support Center at Fort Braggs, NC Job Description: - Performs scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various types of generators in support of the PM Radars fielding missions. Responsibilities: - Performs scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various generators. Troubleshoot and repair the electrical system, fuel, and mechanical faults and repair or replace defective components as needed. Repairs include but are not limited to replacing - engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel pumps, water pumps, geared hub components, fuel tanks, sensors, brake pads, rotors, half shafts, component seals, abs system, air/hydraulic systems, suspension and steering systems. Able to read and interpret line drawings, interconnection drawings and electrical schematics. Well versed in the safe operation of all necessary tools needed to complete repairs. Use Fed log and technical manuals to research parts required for service and repair. - Able to replace engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel pumps, water pumps, geared hub components, fuel tanks, sensors, brake pads, rotors, half shafts, component seals, abs system, air/hydraulic systems, suspension and steering systems - Perform scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various generators - Troubleshoot and repair electrical system, fuel and mechanical faults and repair and/or replace defective components.
