Job Description:

Can you envision being a key player on the Communications and Information Technology Services (CITS) Program in Stuttgart, Germany?

CITS represents IT transformation and innovation on a large project with the shared objective to sustain and optimize mission critical operations. In addition, we provide full life-cycle O&M and Engineering support to EUCOM and AFRICOM.

We are seeking a Logistics Engineer in Stuttgart, Germany.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides logistics technology ensuring effective support of integration, installation, test and evaluation. Provides integrated logistics support (ILS) services; develops new ILS strategies; and provides ILS planning. Provides operations and maintenance (O&M) support for new and upgraded systems including hardware and software installation, removal, repair, and intermittent testing of system components from approved operational requirements documents. Supports on call and on site O&M and identification of infrastructure to accomplish O&M. Conducts maintenance activities. Develops, reviews, analyzes, or updates service maintenance concepts and plans, reports, O&M manuals, training manuals, instructor guides, trainee guides, and classroom presentation material. Uses government automated system to track acquisition status from procurement initiation to delivery. Coordinates with customer stakeholders on logistics support requirements for product design and development. Develops logistics and distribution plans for support of customer requirements to deploy to CONUS and OCOUNUS locations to perform temporary missions. Performs analysis of supply chain operations and recommends potential distribution efficiencies. Develops and/or evaluates integrated logistics support plans as part of life cycle development efforts. Oversees and manages additional Customer Integration Group members. Participates in coordinating or authoring logistics input to RFIs and proposal efforts.

Qualifications / Certifications

  • CompTIA Security + Must be able to qualify for TESA
