Job Description:

Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Primarily supporting a Microsoft .NET based software development team.

Performs complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment. Designs, codes, tests, develops, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. Works with users to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines using established project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems. Offers expertise in one or more technical disciplines - SQL, Java, JavaScript, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, AJAX, MVC, XML.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • A certification IAW DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II

  • Secret Clearance

  • 4-6 years of experience creating custom web or desktop applications using Microsoft .NET

  • 4-6 years of experience with Source Control repositories such as Team Foundation Server

  • Experience with SCRUM / Agile practices

  • Experience developing complex web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET, MVC and Entity Framework

  • May be required to sign for equipment

Desired Skills

  • Experience maintaining and securing IIS web servers

  • SQL server database administration

  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Unity or Ninject
