Job Description:

Our contract team has an exciting opportunity to define the path forward for the Office of Justice Programs, the primary grant making arm of the Department of Justice, funding over $4 billion in grants each year. Our contract is responsible for maintaining and modernizing the diverse technology landscape at OJP and ensuring the OJP's stakeholders have the right IT capabilities to provide needed services to communities and organizations around the world.

Seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join our team in Washington, DC near the Chinatown metro station.

Contribute to the design, development and implementation of short- and long-term technical solutions through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Candidate would be expected to mature a nascent enterprise architecture practice into a business outcome driven EA with proven experience in areas of:

  • hands-on development of EA deliverables (e.g., baseline architecture, target architecture, sequencing plan)

  • defining vision, strategy, and principles for data management

  • building and articulating a data architecture and delivery roadmap that indicates current, transition, and future statue data architectures

  • developing architecture reference models for data governance and control

  • creating design patterns and best practices for data and the integration of data through the enterprise

  • maintain, assess, and continuously improve the EA

  • knowledge and application of Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework

  • developing governance policies and establishing project compliance

  • defining repeatable EA processes integrated into the organization

  • defining key metrics proving value delivery

  • EA tool usage

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Must be comfortable interacting with both technical and C/Director level customer staff

  • Be able to provide fresh ideas to existing problems to move the organization forward

  • BS or equivalent + 14 yrs related experience, or MS + 12 yrs related experience
