For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM, formerly US-VISIT), CSRA performs operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Automated Biometric Identification System’s (IDENT) production and non-production environments and associated business systems. In support of this effort, CSRA provides Task Order Management, Datacenter Operations, Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations, System Management and Monitoring, Service Request Management, Technology Analysis, and Non-production Support (to include Program Support Systems and Transition). CSRA is excited to offer you a unique opportunity to join a best performing O&M team supporting one our nation’s most critical homeland missions – the storage and processing of biometric and associated biographic information for national security, law enforcement, immigration and border management, intelligence, background investigations, and associated testing, training, management reporting, planning and analysis

This is a 2nd shift position Job Description –Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist and provide direct production support on the IDENT system

• Assist the production support team with the day-to-day standard ticketing requests and reports

• Ensure system operation continues within SLAs

• Write procedures for the purpose of maintaining the system efficiently

• Perform tuning of the system and troubleshooting issues

• Assist in on call and weekend rotation

• Perform other duties as assigned Roles and Responsibilities & Expectations include: Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

• Self-starter, motivated individual with attention to detail, able to work under pressure

• Knowledge of Unix, Linux, AIX Environment

• Familiar with Unix commands

• Scripting knowledge (batch, shell or Perl )

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL as this is the back-end database for the system

• Experience with TIBCO application such as Business Works and EMS plus

• Experience with WebLogic is a plus

• Previous development experience in Java, C++ and Pearl is a plus "

• Self-starter, motivated individual with attention to detail, able to work under pressure

• Knowledge of Unix, Linux, AIX Environment

• Familiar with Unix commands "

• Experience with TIBCO application such as Business Works and EMS plus

• Experience with Oracle WebLogic is a plus

• Experience with f5 LTM and GTM is a plus

• Previous development experience in Java, C++ and Pearl is a plus
