Job Description:

The Team Lead will demonstrate expert level experience with the planning, coordinating, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, documenting, executing and analyzing Cyber Security Service Provider Programs.

Through the accomplishments of the Cyber Security program, JSP performs a wide variety of services and functions required to assure the information security posture for Department of Defense (DOD) Services. The scope of the Cyber Security tasks includes the following:

  • Program Management

  • Compliance

  • Vulnerability Management

  • Assessment & Authorization

  • Audit Support

  • Risk Assessment

  • Vulnerability Assessment

  • Training

The Team Lead acts as primary customer contact for branch activities, leading review sessions with customer to discuss task status, schedule, and technical performance.

  • Establishes milestones for End Point security tasks and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies problems and obtains solutions, such as re-allocation of resources.

  • Directs the work of employees assigned to the branch from technical and administrative areas.

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing tasks and initiatives and serves as liaison between government branch lead and project management.

  • Reviews status of branch-level projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.

  • Researches and provides advice to client on applications software suitable for the protection of the enterprise from the End Point perspective.

  • Involved in planning of application deployment as well as responsible for meeting government compliance standards.

  • Reviews systems specifications that address business requirements, processes, and that fit within architecture standards.

  • Reviews and approves documents for testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.

  • Acts as a liaison with other branch and division organizations and functions, including law enforcement, intelligence, and other government organizations and agencies.

Other functions may include operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.


Shall possess In-depth knowledge of the DoD End Point Security Solution to include the Host Based Security System, (HBSS), the Assures Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and common tools designed to support identifying and reporting on End Point Security Status within a large enterprise environment

  • Demonstrated successful track record for delivering large/complex projects on time and within budget within DoD Organizations

  • Lead the planning, coordinating, scheduling, resourcing, tracking, documenting, executing and analyzing Cyber Security Service Provider Programs.

Basic Qualifications:

Years of Experience:

  • 10 or more years IT program/project management experience

  • 5 or more years IT program management experience in Army, DOD, or IC

Certification Requirements:

  • Shall possess and retain, DoDI 8570 level IAT III and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications

Clearance Requirements:

  • Shall possess and retain, Top Secret clearance and DIA adjudicated SCI eligibility

Clearance Level Must Be Able to Maintain:

Top Secret SSBI (Single Scope Background Investigation)
