Seeking a Program Protected/Security Classification Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA.
Supports organizational program protection by serving as the organization's subject matter expert responsible for the development and implementation of security classification guides and standard operating procedures. Also, serves as the on-site SME for security policy compliance and implementation for the customer. Provides subject matter expertise guidance on the interpretation of security classification guides, classification and declassification decisions supporting holistic program protection initiatives. Work closely with supporting Security SME's in a collaborate, dynamic team to support complex customer mission requirements.
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Updates revisions to the master security classification guide, assists with the development of program protection polices, and develops/prepares the final coordination of numerous security SOPs and supportive forms and documentation. Develops, maintains and updates security policies, security training and SOPs to ensure the protection of classified and sensitive information. Drafts co-utilization agreements and memorandums of agreement, as required, in support of customer requirements. Maintains and updates security education and awareness training policies and requirements to ensure compliance. All duties and responsibilities support program protection plan development and implementation.
Must have an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience with U.S. Government security fields (primarily in the area of information security).
Must have 4 years subject matter expert and hands-on experience in development of security classification guides, related information security SOPs and preparing/conducting security briefings.
