Job Description:

Provide direct on-site client support to the senior divisional leadership in the Hunt and Incident Response Team (HIRT) program at the Office of Cyber Security and Communications (CS&C) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This analyst will provide a combination of administrative and analytical support.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage senior leadership and team schedules in MS Outlook;

  • Prepare weekly briefing books for leadership according to calendar;

  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information;

  • Assist with coordinating and managing core critical functions such as technology procurement, human resources, business processes, administrative policy, budget and acquisitions, and facilities;

  • Provide meeting support including, creation of meeting minutes and document preparation such as design and create forms, brochures, charts, manuals, fliers, presentations and directories. May assist program staff with conference room scheduling including audio/visual needs.

  • Develop and execute all administrative policies and operating procedures, COOP operations, internal and external web content oversight;

  • Develop standard operating procedures;

  • Conserve executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications; and

  • Support ad hoc program management activities. Assemble, prepare, and analyze data for studies, project and program management, communication products, and related duties. Work with senior staff and project managers to analyze and interpret the results of the data. Provide input and/or develop draft technical report or presentation with the results of the analysis.

Candidate must have:

  • 3+ years of experience and a BA/BS degree.

  • Ability to perform all functional duties independently.

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Customer service orientated, focused and extremely responsive and energetic.
