The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
CSRA provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. CSRA supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas. This position is responsible for managing Software (License) assets.
CSRA seeks a Junior Software Asset Analyst for the FDIC Infrastructure team. U.S. Citizenship and background investigation is required; you must have a current clean financial background.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for the full lifecycle management of all FDIC software.
Collaborate with other task areas within the contract to ensure the Software Management related processes are being adhered to and the FDIC is in compliance.
Drive process improvements with IT Asset Management best practices and automation.
Monitor software usage to reduce risk of noncompliance.
Coordinate with procurement for the receipt of all software assets.
Develop and maintain the media library (digital and physical) for software assets.
Maintain accurate CMDB for all software assets.
Develop processes to ensure data integrity and process compliance in software asset management.
Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management data information.
Responsible for the creation and distribution of software related deliverables, performance targets (KPIs) and other contractual reports to include trend analysis, exception reports, and federal compliance reports.
Responsible for detailed meeting minutes for all meetings held with the client.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
One year with experience with software licensing/ EULAs
Strong licensing knowledge of any of the following software vendors: Microsoft, Oracle, Symantec, IBM, VMWare or SAP.
Experience with ServiceNow
Great communication skills (Listening, Verbal, Written).
It would be great if you also had:
A Bachelor’s degree
ITIL v3 Certification
ITAM CSAM and/or CHAMP Certifications
Demonstrated knowledge with eDiscovery tools.
