Job Description:

GDIT has an opportunity for an energetic business leader to manage a portfolio of accounts across our Homeland Security Group. As Account Manager you will be responsible for all NPPD/I&A Programs work performed across our DHS clients. The account has more than 150 personnel across multiple programs. This exciting opportunity requires business development activities, client interaction with senior DHS personnel, program delivery, financial management, contracts management and resource management. Must have an active Top Secret /SCI eligible.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs all phases of an account building inception through completion

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of programs within the account

  • Manage program managers and other direct reports in relation to the accounts

  • Lead account Performance Management

  • Work with internal/external vendor/GDIT business/technical executives to create business opportunities, expand existing business with the customer, and deliver technically superior solutions

  • Coordinates the preparation of business plans, subcontracts, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract proposals

  • Coordinates the preparation of RFI responses and proposals to include technical, administrative and pricing volumes, as well as BOEs and staffing plans.

  • Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes

  • Accountable for the delivery of every program, brief the CEO and other GDIT executive leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in successful account growth, in-depth understanding of portfolio strategy, ability to build cohesive organization utilizing back-office support teams

  • 10 years of program/account management required

  • P&L Responsibility

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detailed knowledge and experience supporting DHS customers, preferably with NPPD and/or I&A

  • Technology knowledge of cybersecurity

  • Technical knowledge of infrastructure O&M

  • PMP certification

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 15 years of relevant experience and bachelors or master degree preferred
