Job Description:

CSRA is currently looking for a Front End Web Developer to join our mission critical team located in Arlington, VA. Some of the daily functions associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying dynamic websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications

  • Build dynamic website using backend database and REST API

  • Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

As the successful Front End Developer candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Familiar with modern frameworks for developing responsive, mobile first projects on the web. Experience with Google material design is desired.

  • Responsible for outreach, marketing and analytics for web sites

  • Ensures ease of navigation and simplicity of design

  • Coordinate with other content managers and web site designers for developing standard operating procedures

  • Analyzes information architecture - Builds sitemaps, wire frames, prototypes, and/or documentation that articulate site and application structure and organization.

  • Captures web-based system requirements including brand message, user experience, user interface, and operational/usability requirements.

  • Work with customers and update content

  • Ensures ease of navigation and simplicity of design

In order to be considered for this Web Developer role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS in related technology field

  • Have 2-4 years hands on experience in UX/UI Development /front end development with JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3

  • Experience in developing and consuming web services using REST API

  • Experience with SAAS CSS framework, Angular J / Node JS and source control (GitHub)

  • Ability to follow Agile SDLC

  • Experience with .Net development will be given preference

  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus

  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to get an agency specific clearance

  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Sketch and InVision prototype tools is desired ​
