We are currently seeking a Desktop Publishing Specialist in Chantilly, Va to join our team.

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participate as a desktop publishing/production specialist as a member of integrated proposal response teams in support of solicitations from Government clients.

  • Review solicitations to ensure full understanding of response submission requirements.

  • Participate in daily proposal stand-up meetings to coordinate with the proposal manager and team.

  • Ensure availability of appropriate supplies for proposal personnel.

  • Coordinate with graphic designers to track status of all proposal graphics, and embed the latest graphics into proposal documents, as required.

  • Develop compliant response templates (e.g., font, format, page layout, naming conventions) in accordance with solicitation requirements using tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe products.

  • Perform desktop publishing in accordance with the proposal response schedule and the proposal center production schedule.

  • Support internal reviews, including desktop publishing of the as-is document.

  • Perform print production, as needed, and ready the proposal for electronic and/or physical delivery.

  • Operate proposal production equipment, including printing and producing proposals for hard copy submissions.

  • Maintain proposal facilities, including coordination of maintenance/troubleshooting for proposal production equipment.


To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience using Microsoft Office with expert level knowledge of Microsoft Word and desktop publishing.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating responses to solicitations from Federal and/or State/Local Government clients.

  • Experience applying and using pre-set styles for text and tables.

  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Experience operating production printers.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Solid verbal and written communications skills.

  • Secret Clearance required Top Secret Preferred
