Are you excited about driving military strategies across the organization? As the Military Recruiting Lead, you’ll support and develop targeted diversity recruitment strategies. You’ll help develop our approach to recruiting military and veterans and shape programs that enable that talent to flourish at General Dynamics Information Technology.

In this role you will be responsible for leading our Military Relations initiatives which includes overseeing the following:

  • Develop strategies for military recruiting programs to ensure General Dynamics Information Technology is recognized as a top Military friendly employer.

  • Align the General Dynamics Information Technology military recruiting efforts with veteran needs and the goals of veteran support organizations.

  • Continuous research of new techniques, sites and tools that help in the identification of Military talent.

  • Partner with stakeholders regarding recruitment marketing campaigns to attract Military and Veteran candidates.

  • Lead the strategy and implementation for our Military and Veteran events.

  • Stay current on market trends and military base strategies.

  • Build and maintain a large network of veteran and military spouse candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.

  • Travel required for Military Events as needed

  • You are able drive results in a big way and can get things accomplished in a relationship based organization.

  • You are willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 6 years of military recruitment experience; Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • Proven experience in leading major diversity initiatives, including the successful implementation of programs across an enterprise landscape

  • Project management experience, from project inception to implementation

  • Proficiency with the tools and technology available to us to identify military and veteran talent.

  • Recruitment experience in candidate sourcing and cold calling or appropriate Military experience required

  • US Military experience or Military Spouse strongly preferred
