Job Description:

Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements, Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages,application integration and testing tools. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent + 0 yrs experience

BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology

Working Knowledge in at least two of following areas: Java/J2EE, C# / C++, C, VB/.NET, Perl, Python, SQL, Java Script/AJAX

Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified with baseline Certification of Security + and a Computing Environment Certification of Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP), or CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
