Job Description:

The FAA Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Platform is a cloud-based system that provides a platform of reusable data and information management services and big data processing capabilities for agency use. We are looking for an operations manager with big data experience to create an operations plan, manage service staff and manage the on-going maintenance of the platform.

Manage the Operations and Maintenance of an Enterprise Information Management system hosted in the cloud. Create and Maintain O&M Plan Responsible for Operations management, maintenance, provisioning and monitoring of all production environments. Assists with the testing and development of updates to the existing system Identify and recommend tools and operational processes that improve the current processes Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data Ensure Platform's performance, availability and reliability Primary source of information on maintaining compliance, consistency and taking corrective action


Has demonstrated experience as an Ops Manager on Cloud platforms. 10 Years of Operations Management experience Big Data Knowledge - Huge plus Knowledge of AWS Security components Disaster Recovery IT Service Desk Experience Onboarding/Offboarding Security Incident response Password administration ITIL certification preferred
