CSRA, a General Dynamics Information Technology Company, is currently seeking several Help Desk Technicians to join our mission critical team located in Fort Bragg, NC. Successful candidates must have an active TS with SCI eligibility to be considered.
As the selected Help Desk Technician , you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
Dailysupervisionanddirection to staffmemberswho are responsible for support to usersintheare asofelectronicmail,accountcreation and maintenance,standarddesktopapplications, and applicationsdevelopedanddeployed by the Government.
Strongunderstanding ofvoice and datacommunications,LAN/WANequipmentand operations, networking,networkcomponents,vendors,andpointsofcontact for troubleshootinghardware,software, PC, and printerproblems, as well as call centersupport for Governmentprograms.
In order to be considered for the Help Desk Technician opportunity with us, you must meet the following qualifications:
Requires a minimumofsevenyearsofexperience,ofwhichat least fiveyearsmustbespecialized.
Generalexperienceincludesbackground in informationsystemsdevelopment,networkoperations,applicationperformancein a client/serverenvironment, or related fields.
Specializedexperienceincludesthemanagementof help desks in a multi-user environment, a comprehensiveunderstanding of PC operating systems, anin-depthknowledgeofnetwork and electronicmail operations,andpriorsupervisionofhelpdeskemployees.
Musthave a demonstrated ability to communicateexceptionallywell both orally and in writing, as well as have a positive customer serviceattitude.
