CSRA, a General Dynamics Information Technology company, is currently looking for an Instructor / Trainer to join our mission critical SITEC II team.
As the selected Instructor / Trainer, you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
Conducting the researchnecessary to developandrevisecomprehensive training courses ●
Determining training objectives and developing course curriculums
Identifying the best ways to approachtraining requirements
Creating course materials,handouts,instructional aids, audio/visualmaterialsandsimilarteaching aids
Performing classroom training
Testing and evaluatingstudentperformance
Preparing appropriatetraining catalogs
Assembling or creatingnecessary training materials(e.g.,courseoutlines,backgroundmaterial,andtraining aids)
Producing studentmaterials(e.g., course manuals,workbooks,handouts,exercises,completioncertificates, and course critiqueforms)
Executing training activities, such as training the trainerefforts,formalclassroomtraining courses, coursefacilitation,onlinefacilitation,workshops,exercises, and seminars
Developing tests, surveys, and otherdatacollection measurestoevaluatestudents, as well as the effectivenessofcoursematerials
The Instructor/Traineridentifiesthe best way to approachtraining requirements,to include, but notlimited to, hardware,software,simulations,courseevaluationandrefreshment, assessment centers, oralexaminations,interviews,computerassistedandadaptivetesting, behavior-basedassessmentandperformance,andteamand unit assessment and measurement.
TheInstructor/Trainerutilizes various iterativeprocess-improvementandbestpracticemethodologies in appliedpsychology,psychometrics,human factors engineering,educationalmeasurement,andotherrelateddisciplines.
TheInstructor/Trainerdevelopsandmaintainsknowledge bases, conductsappliedandadvancedresearchmethodologies,developstests,surveys, training materials,datacollectionmeasures,statistical and other analyses,andidentifies,conceptualizesandsecuresnew research anddevelopmentareas.
n order to be considered for the Instructor / Trainer opportunity with us, you must meet the following qualifications:
Fiveyearsintensive or progressiveexperience in theindividual’sfieldofstudy or specialization and a minimum ofthreeyearsofexperience in thedevelopment and delivery of training and instruction are required.
require a combinationof in-depth subject matter expertise, aswell as excellentinterpersonal,writtenand oral communication and presentation skills.
must be able to explain difficult technicalmaterialclearly and patiently to students that havevaryinglevelsofproficiency.
Candidatesshouldbeoutgoing and comfortableworking withdiverse groups ofpeoplewhilemaintainingprofessionalism at all times.
Instructor/Trainers require a breadthoftechnicalknowledge that they continuallyupdateandrefresh in order to maintainsubjectmatterexpertise in theirspecialtyfield.
TheInstructor/Trainer assesses, designs,andconceptualizes training scenarios,approaches, objectives,plans,tools, aids, curriculums,andotherstate ofthe art technologies relatedto training.
