CSRA is seeking a Material Coordinator for warehousing of multiple C4ISR Programs supported at the CECOM RSC JBLM, WA. The position requires a current and active Secret Clearance.
Controls the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and
information between point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site,
through to customer placement in order to meet customer or manufacturing
requirements. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics
processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand
management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions.
Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing
financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.
Builds relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution
of delivery issues. Integrates market intelligence from operating entities,
distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve
Operates within all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
Working conditions are normal for a shipping and receiving warehouse conducting a pack/wrap/ship mission with frequent lifting of materials and products up to 50 pounds.
Verifies and keeps automated and manual records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Performs preventive maintenance and machinery operation of forklift requiring the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled.
Acquires and maintains Hazardous Material Shipping and Fork Lift Operation certifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience
Current and Active Secret clearance
High school diploma and above
Experience with standard military warehouse procedures to include receipt, storage, inventory of components and assets, packaging for shipment of materials, perform routine database update entries, maintain routine communicationsusing email, phone, and general status briefings, and provide other logistical support at the CECOM RSC JBLM.
Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) experience is a plus.
Hazardous Material Shipping and Handling Certifications are plus. (MIL or COM)
Knowledge of standard military transportation/distribution procedures is a plus.
