We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist at McChord Air Force Base in Washington. This position requires active Secret clearance.
The responsibilities include:
Acts as team lead for General Dynamics IT maintenance personnel (typically one other person) operating on the LOGNET contract.
Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.
May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists.
Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
Route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists.
Positive customer service attitude.
Detailed technical problem solving approach.
Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk between work sites as required.
AA or equivalent + 0 yrs related experience
