Job Description:

Join CSRA and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Personnel Modernization (PersMod) team is searching for a Business Analyst to join their program in New Orleans, LA .

The Analyst:

  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.

  • Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems. Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business.

  • The desired candidate analyzes data and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy’s Human resources system.

  • Import, clean, integrate, analyze, and visualize large datasets to support ongoing integration projects.

  • Conduct quantitative deep dives and on-demand analyses, then distill insights for clients to drive integration strategies.

  • Coordinates with customer, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.

  • Must possess experience in documenting functional business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.

  • Responsible for decomposing high level functional requirements and writing system and technical requirements for development and testing.

  • As a member of a Task Order Team, must be able to work well with co-workers, developers, testers, and customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • 3+ years of data analysis and business intelligence analytics

  • Experience developing functional and technical requirements

  • Secret clearance
