CSRA is actively searching for a Systems Engineer Associate to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division Acquisition Readiness Division at Norco, CA.
Performs readiness assessment in the areas of infrastructure, energy, and cyber through analysis of reliability, maintainability, availability, and cyber-security.
Performs engineering assessment of Navy systems by applying systems engineering principles of requirements analysis, design verification, testing at different levels of integration, and system verification to requirements.
BS or equivalent, Specialized Field of Study in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred
Knowledgeable of reliability, maintainability, availability, and cybersecurity principles, systems engineering principles and DoD acquisition process
Knowledgeable of configuration and change management for systems, development and test of complex systems
Knowledgeable of systems level assessments, cybersecurity principles and practices, engineering risk assessment, management theories and practices
Skilled in developing project proposals, plans and schedules, developing systems engineering documentation, assessing systems requirements, validation of system design to system requirements, developing a test plan and executing test and evaluation of a system, developing technical data packages, developing processes, procedures, and methodology for performing assessments, developing methods and tools to collect and analyze data, developing reports and information briefs
Ability to formulate goals, plans, and methods of evaluation, adjust long-range plans, develop budget requirements
Ability to communicate technical information both orally and in writing
Ability to manage technical execution of a project
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
