Job Description:

This position prefers experience with Title III and 50 digital/telephony collection systems. Reference systems include FBI Digital Collection System (DCS)-3000, DCS-5000 and DCS-6000. Specific functional requirements are detailed below. On an as-needed basis, analyst training can be made available for the reference systems. Candidates must possess training skills, be able to assist with workflow functions, and be knowledgeable of a variety computer formats ranging from microcomputers to more complex hardware.

  • Provide new user/refresher training;

  • Workflow assistance to all system stakeholders;

  • Provide business administration support for all system stakeholders;

  • Assist with the development of training materials;

  • Assist with other business user duties as applicable;

  • Query assistance to linguists and supervisors;

  • System report assistance to supervisors or office staff;

  • Creating user accounts;

  • Resetting user passwords;

  • Installing workstations, printers and adding them to the domain;

  • Assist with workstation software & baseline upgrades;

  • Assign Users to cases/groups at supervisor request;

  • Import sessions from optical disk (magneto optical media);

  • Direct & assist new users and/or supervisors in completing the mandatory Rules of Behavior forms before creating user accounts;

  • Proper storage and handling of spare hardware and associated peripherals.

Undergraduate degree in related field; 4 years of experience as systems analyst or systems administrator.
