GDIT has partnered with NASA to consolidate select Procurement, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology activities from the ten NASA Centers into a single shared services center located at Stennis Space Center in southern Mississippi.

The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) mission is to provide timely, accurate, high quality, cost-effective, and customer focused support for selected NASA business and technical services.

GDIT has an opportunity at the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) for an HR In- Processing Assistant to contribute to our success in providing onboarding services for NASA. This will be a full-time position.

The HR In-Processing Assistant will provide assistance to the Caseworkers who serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for new NASA employees throughout their on-boarding process to include tailored communication and individualized counseling based on the new hire’s specific employment type.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Monitor, approve and accept electronic on-boarding forms and ensure forms are accurate and include information needed for processing the new hire’s personnel and payroll data.

  • Provide assistance to new hires with completing the necessary forms for in-processing using an Entrance on Duty System (EODS).

  • Ensure that all required documents are received and imported in the electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) and perform quality review on the received and/or completed package.

Qualified Candidates must have:
