We are seeking a Configuration Management Analyst in Stuttgart, Germany .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

AFRICOM CMDB analyst supports AFRICOM and works directly for the requirements/CM/Business analyst lead. The CMBD analyst is the Configuration Management Administrator responsible for directing and maintaining an enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within Service Now. It is the CMDB Administrator’s primary goal to ensure all data captured is current, relevant, and is authoritative. The CMBD is responsible for planning, scheduling, communicating, coordinating resources, and managing day-to day tasks to sustain and improve the Configuration/CMDB Management function (both the run-operate and continuous measurement and improvement aspects).

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring and Reporting of all CI data and relationships

  • Attends the CMS review meeting (Quarterly basis) and provides the CMS status report on a monthly basis

  • Configuration Model manager providing input to the ICD for CMS and ensures data integrity

  • Configuration Item Manager providing oversight for all CI processes and procedures.

  • Maintain Service Now CMDB and baseline, APL for hardware and software

  • Service Now CMDB Administration

  • Maintains precise documentation and accurate usage of the Service Now CMDB database

  • Maintains the services on the discovery servers (MID) on AFRICOM and USAREUR networks

  • Manages and integrates new authoritative data sources based on approved model/ICD

  • Maintain rights/permissions to Service Now CMDB

  • Support Information Assurance/Cyber accreditation, scanning and inspections

  • Coordinates with the Service Provider who is providing System Administration for the Server, Database, and Software

  • Communications and Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain CMS website/portal quality

  • Supports and provides input to the data integrity of the ServiceNow CMDB

  • Supports and provides input to the periodic and ad-hoc configuration audits and report nonconformance

  • Supports and provides input to the CMS quality audits to identify trends that may require escalation

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must have an IAT DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II certification or higher (Security+)

  • Must have a Computing Environment (CE) Certification - ServiceNow Administrator

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance

  • 2-3 experience with Service Now Database

  • Must meet TESA requirements – one of the following:

High School Diploma and 11 years of technical IT experience

Associate’s Degree and 7 years of technical IT experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of technical IT experience

DESIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS :

  • Service Now Implementer certification

  • IAT III 8570 Certification (CISSP, CASP)
