Job Description:

We are seeking an Operations – Platform Services Watch in Stuttgart, Germany .

Responsible for the daily monitoring and maintenance of Data Center services and solutions. Will work with other service providers in order to ensure compliance with Command requirements for disaster recovery preparedness, and to ensure service level standards are met for Data Center owned systems and services. Command Watch Officer Operation Support to ensure documentation of infrastructure changes and Situation Awareness of Command applications and services is maintained. Provides Tier II and Tier III troubleshooting and problem resolution for classified and unclassified Microsoft Server Operating System technologies including Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2012 R2 in a geographically distributed environment. Reviews, researches, and applies system and application patches, hotfixes, service packs, and security configuration from CYBERCOM and DISA STIG compliance. Provide operation center coordination of Authorized System Interruption (ASI) and Preventative Maintenance and Inspection (PMI) to the command Researches and implements lessons learned for unplanned system/application outages. Will support management of Enterprise Active Directory, AD-Integrated DNS, External DNS, DHCP, and Distributed File Services.

Required Skills:

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance

  • Must have ONE of the following Computing Environment (CE) certification:

Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 – 410

Administering Windows Server 2012 – 411

Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services -412

  • Must have an IAW DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II certification - CompTIA Security+ CE

  • Must meet TESA requirements – one of the following: > High School Diploma and 11 years of technical IT experience > Associate’s Degree and 7 years of technical IT experience > Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of technical IT experience

  • Command Coordination Watch Operations and Data Center Support

  • Documentation of Situation Awareness in support of Command applications and services

  • Able to work a Shift Schedule Supporting Watch Operations and Data Center Support

  • Experience with ticket tracking systems for server, and services outages and provide incident and problem management solutions.

  • Experience with prioritizing and triaging request for services to the supporting technology teams.

  • Experience in tier 3 support of core Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Server 2008R2, Server 2012 R2, DNS, DHCP.

  • Experience with completing routine interpretation and implementation of related DISA STIGs and CYBERCOM TASKORDs to enhance the security posture of the environment.

  • Experience with managing physical and virtual servers

  • PKI Token configuration and troubleshooting

  • Experience with Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 R2 operating systems to include installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance.

  • Travel is required

  • Willing to work Shift hours

  • Hand receipt holder for Equipment

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with the DISA STIG and IAVM process

  • Proficient with Group Policy Object, Sites and Services and other AD related functions/tools

  • Proficiency in develop and maintaining SOPs/TTPs for enterprise servers and applications.
