Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer/Developer in Stuttgart, Germany.

Software Engineer/Developer shall be responsible for the planning, design, and development of software applications. Must have the experience and ability to perform business processes to develop and maintain appropriate solutions to identified demand signals.

Responsibilities:

LIST OF DUTIES:

  • Design new applications integrating using both the SharePoint .NET Controls and Web Service implementations as part of the overall Knowledge Management architecture.

  • Develop, test, and refine the applications to meet stakeholder requirements and established User Interface design.

  • Isolate, diagnose, repair and resolve software problems.

  • Provide feedback for regular internal process improvement and best practice reviews.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a SharePoint Architecture or Applications Development role.

  • IAT Level II certification(s) in accordance with DoD 8570.1

  • Requires a firm understanding of technologies including C#, .NET Framework, AngularJS, Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), AJAX, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL, SharePoint Workflows, Web Services, SharePoint Server 2010, and Internet Information Server (IIS).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and documentation skills. Able to work in an open work environment.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge and/or experience working within Combatant Commands or Military environments.

  • Experience with complex systems/organizations, portals, enterprise search, enterprise content management, and business intelligence.

  • Microsoft Certification in .NET Application Development

  • Working knowledge of current of geospatial mapping methods and concepts

  • Experience working in, or open to working in, an Agile (preferably SCRUM) development environment.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint 2010 problems.

  • May be required to sign for equipment

  • Involvement with the MS SharePoint Community; active in forums or newsgroups.

Qualifications:

  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active SECRET clearance to start.

  • BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years professional SharePoint experience or a MS in Computer Science or related filed with 3+ years of professional SharePoint experience.

  • CISSP

  • MCPD – Web Developer

  • Must be able to pass TESA
