CSRA is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support the milCloud® 2.0 program. The role requires an individual with strong leadership skills who can build and evangelize a transformative vision for milCloud® 2.0.
CSRA has deployed its own on premise Cloud solution into the DoD data centers. CSRA is operating this Cloud to support DoD Mission Partners meet their Cloud requirements. This approach ensures that (1) DoD Mission Partners can easily directly migrate or support migration efforts for the broad array of complex military applications that would benefit from our Cloud offerings and (2) can evolve with the pace of technology and is not locked into a specific OEM provider.
Reporting directly to the Director Product Management and Marketing, successful candidates will have responsibility for owning and delivering compelling messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategy, communicating the value propositions, and driving the development of sales tools that support sales execution. Candidates will be responsible for enabling our sales team in their “sell-to” efforts by developing compelling marketing programs. You will develop a keen understanding of our customers and market and use this knowledge to prioritize and drive the right go-to-market efforts.
Develop high-impact go-to-market strategies based on market segmentation of Cloud Service Providers in partnership with sales teams
Develop and communicate the value proposition of our platform and solutions to the sales team and develop enablement tools that support sales execution
Ensure content (e.g. case studies, sales enablement materials, product videos, web copies, competitive differentiation, white papers) communicates the unique capabilities of our platform in customer language
Own sales enablement, competitive analysis, thought leadership content, and product launches
Assist members of the sales team with calls to our partners and their customers when appropriate
Market intelligence – be the authority on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Conduct partner / market surveys and interviews to build expertise in the market, customers and competitive landscape
Speak and present both externally and internally to promote our partners’ stories, our platform and our solutions
Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction
Work closely with product management to plan and launch new product releases
Deep expertise in Cloud and Product Marketing
10+ years in enterprise software product marketing for high-tech companies that target IT organizations
Bachelors degree in business, engineering or computer science (MBA a plus) – or related industry experience
Prefers cross-functional team management, influence without authority. You and your team are at the center of the organization constantly interacting with sales, marketing, product, partners and other business units.
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills, i.e. ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights
Strong project & organization management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior management and critical stakeholders and to communicate the group's vision and accomplishments
Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance
Demonstrated experience as a "thought leader" - sought after for advice, counsel and judgment.
Experience building, leading and developing teams of A players
Willing to travel up to 40%.
