GDIT is seeking a people-oriented problem solver to provide specialized support for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). You will be working onsite at EPA headquarters, in Washington, DC, to assist EPA with reviewing materials submitted by regulated parties in the fuel industry. To succeed, you must develop a deep knowledge of the regulations, guidance, and policies related to EPA programs for transportation fuel and be able to communicate them clearly and concisely to stakeholders. Communication and outreach takes place through various methods including emails, phone calls, guidance documents, tutorials, web pages, webinars, and meetings. The successful candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and will be able to work closely with a team in a team-room environment. The successful candidate will also be a self-starter who can manage their own work, and also help less experienced team members with their tasks. An interest in renewable fuel, environmental protection, or policy is highly desirable.
Analyzes data and develops observations and findings to aid in decision-making
Supports business operations development, develops, and follows standard operating procedures
Drafts reports summarizing support line activity
Integrates feedback and revisions into reporting products
Conducts quality control and communicates findings
Conducts stakeholder outreach
Analyzes the requirements and manages the requirement changes
Interprets collected data
Identifies functional requirements through process analysis, review of documents and procedures, and interviews and meetings with stakeholders
Copies and analyzes data, reviews compliance submittals, conducts data entry, and other miscellaneous tasks as requested by client to support organization and conduct analysis of compliance data
Processes compliance reports and integrates the data within those reports with a related application to house the data
BA or equivalent + 3-6 yrs related experience, or MA + 1-3 yr related experience
Strong data and business analyst skills.
Knowledge of business process analysis
Strong writing and communication skills
A self-starter who can manage their own work
Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working with end clients and provide customer support
