Job Description:

The Configuration Management Professional will be responsible for:

  • managing a Variant of the configuration management process for the Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC)/Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Program

  • creating and maintaining configuration management baselines

  • tracking and maintaining documentation for configuration management items

  • requesting and distributing deliverables for the Change Control Board (CCB) and execute the CCB

  • leading a weekly telecon on the configuration management statuses

  • sending calendar invites

  • completing special projects for our government customer

  • creating ad-hoc metrics reports

  • overseeing database tracking of configuration management items

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • 5 years of Configuration Management (non-IT) experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline

  • Experience with database management (Oracle environment preferred)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products

  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Experience with Navy Data Management Procedures (preferred)
