The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC’s IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.

We are currently seeking an Enterprise Architecture Service Delivery Manager:

The Delivery Manager directs enterprise architecture support for the supported environment, service design and transition activities supporting delivery of infrastructure projects and initiatives, engineering support to deployed services, support for release processes, and service owner for pre-production, testing, and development activities. Manages teams supporting implementation of new and enhanced services, external projects and initiatives that require infrastructure modifications, and tier 3 support for current services.

Responsible for the support processes, capability, and availability of pre-production environments in conjunction with infrastructure service owners. Provides testing and validation support to service owners and project teams preparing for releases and deployments. Accountable for managing, coordinating, and reporting the continuous update of the pre-production environments to maintain alignment with production. As the Service Design lifecycle owner insures integration and management of processes and activities across the lifecycles with peers and Program Manager. Enforces customer and Program standards, contributes to achievement of Program performance goals, and directly accountable for Service Design and Transition related service targets. Senior people manager for Service Design and Transition teams providing employee management and mentoring. Reports to the Program Manager, interfaces directly with multiple senior customer stakeholders.

The Enterprise Architecture Service Delivery Program Manager must be able to:

  • Direct the identification and development of information technology systems. Manage the coordination of activities among subordinates, customers, and third party vendors. Review work for completeness and technical accuracy. Participates in presentations on more complex products/services to major prospects and/or customers.

  • Promote the programs Service Design Plan and processes supporting the realization of desired business benefits through projects and initiatives, definition and continuous improvement of design services, maximizing program engineering resources, and supporting current operations at the engineering tier.

  • Manage within a physical and virtual infrastructure environment that includes Microsoft, Unix, Linux operating systems, a wide range of storage solutions, data warehouse support including InfoSphere, BigInsights, Netezza, and Oracle, and emerging cloud services through Amazon Web Services.

The Enterprise Architecture Service Deliver Manager must have the following minimal qualifications and valid certifications:

  • At least 8 years of related management experience with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure Architecture programs and/or projects with a minimum of 15 people.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing Infrastructure Support Services.

  • A minimum of 3 experience interfacing and presenting to C-level executives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • PMI’s PMP or PgMP certification

  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification

All candidates must have the ability to pass a U.S. Government Agency suitability and background check.
