The GDIT team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AO) Case Management System Office (CMSO) is organized into of 14 subteams consisting of 120 individuals. We develop integrated solutions using the Agile/SAFe Framework. We focus on software development and project management within AO to deliver systems for both the Case Management Electronic Filing Portfolio and Probation and Pretrial Portfolio. The systems support Service officers, judges, and other stakeholders with the automated functionality needed to perform the administration of justice and court services to the United States Courts across the nation.
The Senior .NET Developer for the .NET Team will execute the following responsibilities:
Provide hands on development and Agile implementation of new applications/services and enhancements to/or existing applications and services
Develop solutions using the following technologies and methodologies:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017
Git or other distributed source control system
The Senior .NET Developer candidate will present the following required education and experience:
BS degree in Information Technology and/or Computer Science plus at least 5 years professional experience; four additional years of experience or a Technical Certification may be substituted for education/degree
Reviewing technical requirements
Reviewing and making recommendations on technical solutions
Perform design analysis
Proactively identify and resolve potential development and implementation issues
Analyze and improve application performance and mitigate risk
Participate in a collaborative environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to infrastructure and development team members
Experience in a federal environment a plus, but not required for the exceptional candidate
